I have mentioned this before... Back when I was in college, I had a roommate for a semester, who was a hard drinkin' cheerleader. One night, before we were going out to a party -- she was doubled over in pain and we thought she was going to die or something she was in such pain... Now, we weren't stupid, she hadn't gained a lot of weight, absolutely did not look pregnant. Imagine our surprise when we took her to the hospital and she gave birth to a healthy 5 pound baby boy.

Denial is a beautiful thing, she convinced herself she wasn't pregnant, she got her period every month, she never stopped drinking or smoking or cheering... She wan't pregnant, until the night she went into labor.

Heard from her a few years ago-- that surprise baby was graduating from high school and was going, on full scholarship, to college.
