Ya call of duty is pretty crazy.
Try out Medal of Honour: Front Line
The first mission is crazy, Just like the first scene from Saving Private Ryan.
I think the most intense shooter game i have played is Killzone..Only online though, It's a really dark game, Really feels & looks like your in a battlezone.
