Medal of Honor series:
I don't know how exactly I overlooked these game over the years. I just never got around to playing them. I finally took the opportunity to play Medal of Honor: Call of Duty last night and wow! What a game!
I was hooked within five minutes of playing. EA games does a great job of throwing you right into the action and making you feel the intensity of a firefight - something I feel I've lost due to becoming numb from previously played first person shooters. I feel like I'm playing a FPS for the first time while playing this game. I'm jumpy, on my toes, and I twitch like a counter-strike addict on PCP. I'm looking into the other Medal of Honor games such as Allied Assault and Pacific Assault right now. I can't wait.

I have Medal of Honor:Allied Assualt and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I haven't played any of the add ons, or the pacific theatre one yet.
Is there a MOH: Call of Duty or isn't Call of Duty a totally different game?

Call of Duty is not a Medal of Honor game. It was made by Infinity Ward, which has some guys that worked on MoH:AA. It is put out by Activision, not EA.

Call of Duty is great, Medal of Honor games are rather bland.

Ya call of duty is pretty crazy.
Try out Medal of Honour: Front Line The first mission is crazy, Just like the first scene from Saving Private Ryan. I think the most intense shooter game i have played is Killzone..Only online though, It's a really dark game, Really feels & looks like your in a battlezone.

You guys aren't old school enough. The first two Medal of Honor games were the best in its genre for years. The very first Medal of Honor on Playstation almost won game of the year. That is hot stuff. I played it over and over. The atmosphere in the games were unrivaled at the time. You guys are thinking about the later games. The last two Medal of Honor games have been bland compared to Call of Duty, no doubt. But I wouldn't say "Medal of Honor games are kinda lame." Especially counting in the first two. Medal of Honor and Medal of Honor: Underground were two of the best FPS made at the time
