Definitely do some core exercises. This is where most people are weakest and this will cause you the most injury if not strengthened. Pilates is great for working and strengthening the core. I think most people feel that if they cannot get a 6 pack, they are not going to work their core. This is the wrong thought process. You must work the midsection if you want to have an overall strong body. There are so many back injuries out there that could have been prevented in part by doing ab/back and oblique exercises.
