Dysmenorrhea is the condition that causes painful periods without an underlying medical condition, other painful periods can be caused by endometriosis, fibroids, and pelvic inflammatory disease, all which can be diagnosed by a doctor.
In most instances, these conditions can be treated, so would they force women to get treatment?
