never heard of it, I'm 35 now, been running since I was 20, I've never gotten the problems with my knees you're supposed to get from running. I think it's all hooey! I also play hockey, don't know if that hurts or helps, but I've had two knee injuries (minor) in hockey & have always healed more quickly than the doctors had predicted. I believe the shorter times are due to running, and my knees being stronger and more limber than others. I could also be full of crap, most of my friends accuse me of that regularly.
