We plan to go visit hubby's Gram this spring before it gets too late for her. She's got type 2 Diabetes and this past year had 2 major heart attacks. We had wanted to go over Christmas but it was ultimately probably - go visit her or hubby loose his job. We decided to take the trip when driving wasn't so poor as it was this past winter up North. We're hoping nothing happens before March. She's doing well for the meantime at least.
Sorry to hear about your loss. I miss my Gram even still though it's been 6 years this past September.
My condolences. Take a moment to remember her in your own way since you can't be there for the funeral.
