Well today is the big day. I bought the Nicorette gum last night and my wife and I went out in style. I had a half a pack left last night so we got drunk and finished them off. I woke up at 8:15 and now it's 11:30 and I'm doing fine. I'm currently on my second piece of gum and it's been pretty easy so far. Usually I would have had 3-4 smokes already.

From a cost perspespective it is about the same. A package of 110 pieces cost me $38. It should last a little less than two weeks which was about how long a carton lasts me. I pay $34 (no sales tax on the res which is on the way home) for a carton. I guess there is a generic version of the nicorette for about $10 cheaper too.

I was wondering if anyone out there has tried the gum and how sucessfull it was for you guys.
