This is the third time I've had to edit this post due to Emmitt denying the initial reports, but it looks like Emmitt is finally ready to retire, a couple days later and perhaps a couple years too late.

As an Arizona Cardinals "fan", I enjoyed watching him play these past 2 seasons, especially this past season when he showed flashes of his former self.
He'll leave behind some impressive stats as the NFL's all-time leading rusher with 8 Pro Bowls, 3 Super Bowl titles and a league MVP to his name.
Where do you guys think he ranks among the best running backs of all time (Walter Payton, Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, OJ) if he were to retire now?
