Take a pen or pencil, hold it in front of your face to where you can comfortably see it. Move it from left to right and then right to left, following only with your eyes...bring the pen/pencil closer each round, until it is just out of focus and try to focus on it while doing the side to side exercises. Only moving your eyes, look up into your eyelids as far as you can, down (again, don't move your head!), then all the way left - all the way right. This keeps you from having tunnel vision, strengthens muscles in your eyes and stretches them as well - which can help with the cross-eyed affliction you have.
