Where do you live in Indiana? I am originally from there myself.

I lived in Northwest Indiana (or "The Region") and then in Lafayette for a few years until recently moving to Charlotte, North Carolina.
I know a bunch a great spas in those areas if you are anywhere near there.

Did they recommend anything for the ingrown hairs? Exfoliating has always worked for me because it sloughs all the dead skin that can cause an ingrown hair. I use a loofah (I know that sounds painful, but it isn't) and a moisturizing exfoliant such as Dove's Gentle Exfoliating Body Wash. I follow that up with Fig Hydrating Body Balm from Bath and Body Work's Pure Simplicty line but if you don't like the feel of a balm, the body cream works well, too. I've never had any problems using that system so I hope it works well for you, too.
