I saw a great butt exercise by Michael Thurmond on the "Extreme makeover" show.
Stand, facing a wall, about 6-12 inches away. Put your hands up on the wall in front of you. Push your pelvis towards the wall just so that you heels lift off the floor, and then back down again. It kinda looks like you're having sexual intercourse with the wall, but you can really feel your butt tighten up each time.
