In 5th grade I had a House of Blues shirt with all sorts of religious and spiritual symbols on the back, in addition to having the said "swastika". The administration made me turn the shirt inside out. What the fuck is up with that?? Even as a 5th grader I knew the difference.
It's amazing how one group of people can adopt such a positive symbol and make it cast in a negative light...IMO almost how Christianity is working the cross lately.
