If there is a V10 Crown Vic in production, lemme tell ya that I'll be the first civilian in line to try to purchase one of those babies. The last car that I bought was a used cruiser...I'll tell you, once you own a cop car, you'll never go back again.

I would love to see the Chrysler 300C (or Dodge Charger) become the new police wehicle. Imagine seeing one of those behind you...

Anyway, I'm amazed that the stock performance stats are so low for the Ford and Chevy police packages. Now, I know that many cops mod their vehicles (mine had a supercharger with it - it's a pretty common thing, apparently), but I'd think that Ford and Chevy would at least tune their engines to acceptable levels. I mean, come on! There's plenty of stock vehicles out there that can out-run a stock police cruiser with the above stats. I want my local police to have cars that can push out numbers comperable to a Vette or BMW V8. The police certainly shouldn't be put at a disadvantage.
