Despite the welcome presence of Ann Coulter, Michele Malkin, and occasionally Rich Lowry, a plethora of conservative intellectuals languish in obscurity while blowhards such as Bill O'Reilly dominate the scene at Fox. O'Reilly seems to be pride himself on being a contrarian, but his "independence" rubbed conservative viewers the wrong way when he jumped on the "let's discredit the Swift Boat Veterans" bandwagon last year. The honeymoon has been over ever since. He also has a propensity for stories about scantily clad teenagers and the latest spring break sorority girl scandal, which are getting a bit tiresome for female viewers. Under the guise of disapproval, viewers are treated to endless footage of the objectionable behavior at issue.

So the artical states that media outlets lie all the time, and even fox is afraid to "tell it like it is" anymore.
Well I'm not a member of the media, and I seem to be on this here int-ra-net thingy, where the real truth is, so let me give it a go.
Bill's fall from grace has less to do with his actions, which like Rush's where excusable in private, than it has to do with that damn "liberal"media finally having a story to hit him with. When the sexual harrasment story broke he bacame a liability when it's truth became apparent. Denial only runs so far, and the conservative's knew that turning on Bill was needed to distance themselves from him.
