If this doesn't work, we need a lot more info to help. Verify port # and you might even need to know what type of proxy it is.

Good advice. thanks. but i have another question. I did as you suggested but now have four choices to choose from from the manual configuration:
1. HTTP Proxy
2. SSL Proxy
3. FTP Proxy
4. Gopher Proxy
5. Socks Proxy
I'm not a technical guy at all. I use pen and paper and just plain word processing.
Which of the above proxy seting do i change?
btw, all those 5 proxies have the same addresses.
