				Poety to my ex

 My girlfriend recently broke up with me due to my alcoholism and drug addictions (and the behaviour that usually accompanies the disease). I am in a treatment center for 80 days. Here is the poem I wrote for her when I first fell in love;
 Out of my darkness
 I saw you arise
 With the fire in your soul
 Mirrored by thy brown eyes

 For all the years I've
 Spent twisting in the wind
 You have released me
 From all of my sins

 Now free, let's
 laugh and dance
 let's engage in
 sweet romance

 Things are better, I'm 20 days clean.
 Drugs and alcohol DO NOT help creativity,
 they stifle it.
 Diatribe ended.
