Those are three very different shops. I'd expect the egg to do better than the others most of the time but tigerdirect has their moments. Much closer to the egg would be zipzoomfly and they trade blows, with the egg having the better catalog. Check others above.
Again, you can't expect one shop to always beat the others. Sales on single items can blow any favorite out of the water. (especially with free vs. artificially huge shipping costs) Then try the next part and the situation reverses. Open another browser window or two and it can easily mean $100/system.
If you want more savings potential order from the pricewatch lists. Some of those will save you bunches, other times they create headaches. It takes more caution and effort than buying from the established discounters.
I've lost some patience with the basement suppliers other than using them as a price check. Most of the time I open 3-4 vendor windows & fill each cart with the same main parts. Then remove all but the lowest priced of each item. Only takes a couple minutes. If there's not much difference I'll stick with one cart, but it's usually two or three depending on the number of unusual pieces.
