Interesting thread. After a gazillion years of marriage, even spontaneity is predictable. I always shower, shave, and brush my teeth in anticipation of sex. It just seemed like common courtesy. On the other hand, unless we've been out on a 20 mile hike, I've never minded my wife's smell (or taste). I guess we'll be having a discussion one of these days.
