USE A CONDITIONER!!!

Seriously! If you use a good conditioner, you'll have less need for hair products--even if you use a 2-in-1 shampoo. Use one appropriate for your hair type. If you have thick, coarse wavy/curly hair like mine, I use what others would consider a deep conditioner on a regular basis along with a little bit of leave-in conditioner (I like a combination of Aussie 3-Minute Miracle and Paul Mitchell The Conditioner).

Secondly, try a good moisturizing shampoo--ie Aussie Moist. That will also help with the problem.

A little dab of anti-frizz serum on still-wet hair and using a brush treated with Static-Guard...you should be good to go. Another good solution for the static is to rub a dryer sheet over your head. Silly-sounding, but true. Oh, and if you blow-dry your hair, make sure the nozzle is always pointed down with the direction of your hair.

Specifically, you want to look for products with silicone in them--on hair product labels it's referred to as dimethicone. Good luck!
