Good idea.
Could I suggest that someone post the topic or passage to open the story and then everyone creates a new topic for their submission, with a "Re: *topic* - *Name*'s submission".
These type of things tend to run into the tens of pages and it's a pity to see someone's submission get obliviated (I think I just made that up) when they post it on page 5 of a thread where people are still discussing two earlier submissions.
It makes it a lot easier for submitters to find feedback and critique and makes the commentsflow that much better.

I think I lost you a little bit, but the first time we tried this,we didn't have that many people, so this was nowhere near neccessary. If it DOES become the case that we have multiple pages of submissions (which would be AWESOME) I think we'll tackle the organizational problem at that time. The simpler things are, the easier it is for everyone to join in.
