I still play BFV on occasion, same name as I post with. I saw the WWII mod when I got the last patch but didn't grab it, DL'n it as I type.
The maps aren't as much fun as the 1942 maps, that's my overall take on BFV vs. 1942. I also do miss the medic class, give me a tommy gun, a med pack and a few grenades and I'm ready to storm the beaches.
