my favorite sushi includes:
Tuna, Saba, Eel, Surf Clam, Octopus, Conch. my #1 fav is Ikura.
i hate raw salmon and white tuna because its very oily.
salmon is okay when its cooked though.
white tuna isn't even a tuna. it's escolar! they just call it white tuna to sell it.
the real white tuna is abalone and i dont like that one much because its way too soft for my taste. its about as soft as uni.
if you ever go to a sushi bar and ask what the white fish is.. most places use ""Red Snapper". i put those in quotations because it really isn't red snapper. it just looks like red snapper. its really talapia. but the restaurant wont tell you that because talapia is kinda at the bottom of the exotic fish list. some places might tell you its Izumidai which is the correct japanese name. but its really talapia.
