Perhaps this belongs in the "Tilted Sexuality" forum but also fits here to.

My question involves sex/periods/pregnancy

Little background...

My fiance and I have been together for over 5 years, have had sex for the past 4 years. Also protected, never had a condom break..etc.. About 50% of the time her period is always late and gets concerned over the fact she is worried she is pregnant and somehow someway the period fairy always finds a way to visit her. Currently she is "spotting" very little she says but still something is happening. She was on Birth Control, which made her period very irregular (every 2 weeks sometimes) now she is off BC until she visits the gyno in the next few weeks. Is it possible that since she has gone off BC that her body has to readjust? She was suppose to start today, obviously that hasn't happend, even though she is concerned, she isn't concerned enough to purchase a pregnancy test. Is she just overly concerned? Frankly, I've tried to educate myself on this situation via the internet, but each resource contradicts itself. If anyone can relate to this situation any reply would be helpful.
