The best way to keep healthy is not to eat what tastes good and excesize lots. It doesn't matter how fit you are if your arteries are clogged and your heart has to work double time to provide your fit muscles with oxygen. Sooner or later you will succumb to poor eating habits if you fill your body with crap. I fully agree that all this fat free sugar free sucks. I have none of it in my house because it tastes like crap. I also don't have any potatoe chips/pop/..... in my house. I do like to eat the crap I'll admit but I don't buy it and therefore don't eat it unless someone else brings it over. If you eat sensibly and avoid too much of any one thing and avoid most processed foods (chips/deli meat/instant anything/hot dogs/chicken nuggets/.....) you are well on your way to a healthy diet. It's not that hard.
