OK... I need a bit of an explanation. My take on the ending is that she was once again playing games with Dan (Jude Law) with the whole name thing, that she wasnt clean in the relationship either. First, i loved, loved, loved the movie . . . it was realistic, people are intense and i think it reflected that.
I think the significance of having her walk down the street at the end was to show that she was still intact as an individual and happy with herself . . . that she could live her life and walk on her own . . . that is my take on it. I don't think it was meant to be a complex scene . . . the whole film was realstic and simplistic . . . i think the ending reflected that feeling IMHO.
And and ya, totally sad she didn't take it all off . . . Natalie is . . . whew! . . . she is hands down the hottest actress ever
