78 ford f100, 300 6 engine three speed transmission. It had a slight skip. We changed the plugs, cap,wires. Now has a huge skip. doubled cheecked wiring order and it was correct. The old plugs we removed where burning perfectly. New plugs are blackened. Reinstalled the old plugs, they got blackened and it still skipped. We're dumbfounded.
