Reason for making your own crust is the shear fact that you made it. I can go buy a cheesecake too, but I want to make mine. Atleast thats my opinion.
And it sounds like I'll just have to go buy a spring form pan. Its not the price, I was just feeling lazy and didnt want to go buy a pan that I'll only use on occasion.
