How long did you know you would lose your virginity before the day or night it happened?

Was it a planned event, or did you just get caught up in the moment.

For me, I had just started seeing this girl and I was at her house where we did some heavy petting. I had a pretty good idea that we would have sex the next weekend, and I was correct. She had told a mutual friend that she wanted to even though she and I never discussed it. So the next weekend, we consumated our relationship. She was a virgin and so was I, but she thought that I was may more experienced and being a macho stud didn't want to admit that it would be my first too.
