NOW you guys chime in. Yep, I took it back last night after deciding it was a careless impulse buy. Hadn't researched it at all, just saw the $149 tag & thought it was worth a try.
Good links & thoughts. Thanks all. Those would have sped my recovery.
What killed it for me:
-Hated the ozone odor.
-It moved about half the air as my Honeywell HEPA on low.
-It let smoke through (half my heat is from a fireplace), the HEPA doesn't, so combined with the airflow it's an expensive paperweight.
Lesson learned.
