Sprint and Nextel:
Bringing the desire to "screw the customer" into the 21st century. New company expects lots of 'operational problems' and general 'merger confusion,' but is confident that it will right on track with screwing the customer out of more money for unwanted/unneeded services by nickel and dime-ing you to death on your next bill. In other words, as far as the customer is concerned it will be business as usual.
Mergers of "equals" is usually only good for the "equals" involved. It's usually not all that great for the end-user. Of course, I may be wrong. Maybe this new Sprint/Nextel giant will cure cancer, finally procure world peace or feed the hungry. And maybe you'll just get a new "cool" phone that is a "must-have" for the next 2005 holiday season
