I tried to get rid of all of the telemarketers. First we got caller Id and stopped answering calls that we didn't recognize. But then we still missed calls we would have taken, and the telemarketers would leave these cryptic messages that we had to erase to get to the real messages.
Then we tried that call block where you have to enter a code to get through, but they somehow found a way to get through anyway, and my friends could never remember the code.
I tried the do not call list, but you can still be solicited by companies you work with. SO I took the easy route. I cancelled the home service all together, and just use my cell phone for all of the calls. I don't get any telemarketers on the cell.
