I've actually thought the same thing myself a couple of times. I listen to Lex and Terry everymorning (~semi national audience I think). Some of the news articles they talk about are sitting right there in the Fark queue.
Alot of blogs kind of rape and pillage from each other so It could be from quite a number of other sources but funny you should mention it.
