If he mounts his ipod as a disk before plugging it in ( it used to be reset it, then hold back and forward as it reboots, but i'm not sure of the command now) then it'll just mount as a portable hard drive, copy the music over that way. he wont be able to listen t oit on his ipod, but if he puts it back on his pc and copies it into itunes then the ipod will sync with it and it'll all be playable onthere, be sure he delertes the files you transferred over afterwards. This should work as long as he has enough free space for it.
