as some of you know i am disabled. i'm a c6-c7 quadriplegic paralyzed from the chest down. i have no use of my hands and limited use of my arms. i am beginning to excercise more and try to take better care of myself. i want to get stronger, loose some extra pounds i've put on the last few years, and control muscle atrophy. so i went to my doctor explaining my goals and had all the necessary test ran just to make sure i was ok to start. when the tests came back i had a testosterone level of 128 which i understand is pretty low for a 23 year old male. my doctor recommended depo-testosterone injections along with a balanced diet and supplements to achieve the results i wanted.
after researching online and taking the advice of my doctor this is kind of the program i was thinking of and wanted some opinions of it.
1) 6 small meals a day with the 50-35-15 percentages [50% calories from carbs, 35% from protein and 15% from fat]
2)Cell-Tech by MuscleTech in the mornings before breakfast then a 100% whey protein shake mid-morning [try to get the 1gram protein per pound of weight]
3)Nitro-Tech by MuscleTech after a workout
4)7-Keto MuscLean by Beverly Intl
5)Universal Uni-Liver (dosage recommendations?)
6)1cc depo injection every 2 weeks
i'm trying to do a workout program but with the limited use of my arms and none of my legs; i can only do a few exercises. i can do some cardio like pushing my wheelchair and riding my
ergys. i just wanted some input and other people's thoughts about all this cause i'm a noob. thanks in advance
