It's not very old. A couple of years from what I can tell. Bought from eBay (I know, I know...but I only paid $10 + s/h, so not a great loss).
The funny thing is, it used to print just fine for a while, it wasn't received DOA. I've read of other people having experienced similar problems, and I think this is fixable, if only I could figure out the exact cause of it.
The printer, when using its front panel menu, prints a perfect, flawless self-test report.
