Well, that guitarist was way, way, way out of tune or something.
But really, I felt like those violinists and celloists were debasing themselves by playing for this song. That was an extraordinarily bland song, punctuated by moments of true crap. Just because a band utilizes a slow melody and a piano doesn't mean it deserves an orchestra.
I didn't have an opinion on Evanescence before now, but wow, that was a bad song, even if the guitarist would have done fine.
