It is basically the same with my parents. Because I have been engaged before and it did not end in marriage, they are so skeptical about my new relationship. His parents are way more supportive about us then mine are.
There is no easy way to tell them other then to just do it. Unfortuntely in your lifetime you will do a lot of things that your parents will not support fully. The best thing you can do is just tell them how much it would mean to you for them to be supportive and to let you live your life like you need to. Tell them you will finish school and that is your top priority. They probably worry you will give up your own hopes and dreams and get married and pregnant. Let them know your priorities.
