Actually, I'm a bit of an anti-consumer, so I don't care much for brand names. Faking a brand name in that context would be rather hypocritical, so I don't do that either.
Still, I like to buy stuff made with integrity, and if I can find a product made by someone who is not a slave in some third world country, and using manufacturing processess that are not detroying the planet, and going to a company with some level of social responsibility, then I would proudly show that brand name, and I would NEVER fake that.
Yet, so few things in this world are like that, alas...
