Hello, Just thought i'd post a thread on here with a story and hopefully encouragement for all (even though it isn't a crazy story or anything...)!
I'm currently taking physio for a dislocated knee that I did in a little while back, whilst i'm off of crutches now and have been for a while I still need to keep going back there for treatments/workouts every week. Anyways there was a nice gal who did my inicial appointment there, and although I don't see her anymore last week i saw here in another room and i stopped by to say hello etc... well we small talked for a while (before then it had jsut been a nod or hello since i did my knee in) then i asked her what she was up to for lunch (jsut kinda threw it into the conversation). She was surprised but said 'nothing', and then i said what time should i pick you up' and she told me '1230'.
I'm not normally a 'shy guy' at all but picking up women is not one of my fortes. Anyways I found out that she had a bf very early on in the lunch (before we even got to the cafe) but it was still nice to go out with her. Long story short this incident gave me a lot of confidence and hopefulyl i'll be able to do this 'out of the blue' more often. Good luck to all and take some chances!
