Current UBC student here..first year.
Anywho, I would definitely go to UBC if you have the marks.
1. International recognition (let's be honest, the name matters)
2. Equal or slightly cheaper tuition.
3. Not up a freaking mountain lol.
4. UBC is just a generally larger school. More activities, clubs, infrastructure, activities, resources, class choices etc.
5. I have heard SFU has a very good law/criminology program if you're interested in that.
