i think i have seen the platinum controllers, at least the platinum wavebirds are around.
are you serious about the platinum being more rare than the other two? I find it harder to find indigo and black now than the platinum.. Everywhere I go I see multiple platinums to 1 or 2 indigo and black.
and as far as I know, all of the gamecubes are the same.
