I understand people want to see a clear winner. I do too. But, I would rather not have one than to compromise a significant amount of excitement of college football. I hate Saban's idea of bowl+one as well, but what can you really expect from him? The BCS needs to just get it right. It is their responsibility. They need to stop putting out such a shitty system and put out one that actually works. After initially looking at the formula for this year, I wondered what the hell they were thinking. Now, I think it's obvious about it's potential to once again be shitty.
A start is to have the best teams in the nation play each other every year to knock teams like Boise State out of existence. Take Louisiana Monroe and Kent State off of schedules and replace them with USC, Auburn, California, Georgia, FSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas, etc. Why is there around 120 teams in NCAA division 1-a again? Over half the teams should not be there, but they are because of the factor of money. Giving Boise State and Utah real schedules would put to rest all of that controversy. If they win, they belong. If the lose, then everyone is right.

It's good in thought, but it's flawed in my opinion. LSU lost Quality points when they beat a top 10 team twice. Knocking a team out of the top 10 because they lost late in the season kind of defeats the whole purpose
