umm.. i've never used the service, but i'll venture a guess that you simply add users to your readylink list, then select them and connect with them.
the wife and i both have readylink-capable phones, but we also have free pcs to pcs calling, so there's really no pratcical reason for us to purchase the service.
unless you know lots of people who use readylink and can justify the cost, i'd suggest cancelling the service. the only practical reason to get it is if they were to somehow enable readylink users to contact nextel ptt users and vice versa... if that was the case, i'd pick up the service in a heartbeat, simply because most of the guys i work with have nextels.
