Know what the college and/or university is, a bit of its history and such. Know why you want to go there. Have an idea of what you intend to participate in. Be ready to ask questions about that last one. How are you going to pay for tuition and expenses?
Who are/were you in high school? What activities did you participate in? What were your [least] favorite subjects/teachers and why?
How have you contributed to your community? What experience do you bring with you?
OTOH, it's been 23 years since I did that, back in 1981, so I may have forgotten a few things, and other stuff may have changed, like the "contributed to your community" one. I don't recall that being important, but I understand that is one thing that
has changed.
How much those questions matter is something I don't know. Also, dress well, groom well, and don't act like Maleficent's "Jymmi". In fact
that whole thread may have some applicability here, where "benefits" are what you're going there for. That is, what kind of a social life do you expect? And what kind of subjects do you intend to study [job]?
