I really want to find more bands of the mentioned genres. Got any recommendations?
Surf music: I like stuff that sort of has an edge, if you know what I mean. I'm not talkin about anything like the Beach Boys, but there's this one band called the Aqua Velvets that's pretty snazzy.
Ska: This one is tricky, cause I don't really know what it is that I like. Horns aren't required for it to be good... Bands I do like include Citizen Fish and Op Ivy. Smart lyrics. Those are important.
Oi: This one's also a little tough. I like the Templars... BeerZone is good too. What else is out there? I guess it's good when the vocals are rough. Or something.
