very cute. I remember my wife, who is a very serious person, just occasionally zoning out and staring into space in the first couple of weeks as she would suddenly remember that she was engaged.

Get him a claddagh ring. My wife gave me one, and I wore it until the wedding. Remember, for an engagement, it is left hand, and the heart points toward the wrist.
