HA! I am ahead of all you guys!
I use IE for some apps - but mostly firefox (they are competing for main browser at the moment)
It does make the fun "hardware detected" sound
There is no way in hell I am going to buy a Mac - I have had traumatizing expirences.
I havnt had the time to uninstall and reinstall again - that is about the only thing I have not done
And yes, the computer is plugged in. My battery is to crappy to last more than two minutes without its powersource.
