Aye, that is the main reason I think its the board. I can place a single stick of memory in the either slot of the working channel - the other channel wont take even one stick.
It's a 939 pin Athlon 64... that doesn't require dual channel does it? I wouldn't think so, but if it does I guess its possible the memory modules dont match up in size correctly.
