Not really the most hazardous problems I've come across but certainly ranks with some of the most annoying.

On one side I have a PC used many for storing files and internet but I've been having a problem starting up. When I start it, it gets to the Windows is starting up screen then it hangs... I can get it working back in normal if i go into safe mode and run System Restore but I don't really want to do this every time I want to restart. I doubt it was anything recently installed either because it would have shown that right away by not starting after I installed the proggie but I already system restored it so I could boot.

The side PC has a weird problem with explorer.exe. Sometimes when I load things up like firefox it just hangs for a couple of seconds then comes back but explorer is excruciatingly slow and takes like 20 seconds for the start menu to open up. Sometimes the monitor just turns off but the PC still runs. This one I thought it was my changed of the video card speeds but it even does this on its normal speed so I guess it can't be that right?
